1. The Color Coded Homescreen Layout
For this layout, each app is assigned a color. This makes it easy to quickly find the app you’re looking for without having to scan through a bunch of different icons. All the Green icons go in the Green folder (Whatsapp, Voicemail, Messages and so on), then all the Blue icons (such as Safari, Facebook, Apps, and the like) go in a specific section. It creates quite an aesthetic look overall and can help you declutter your home screen while still having everything easily accessible.
2. The Alphabetical Layout
If you’re the type of person who likes things to be nice and organized, this layout is perfect for you. Everything is sorted into alphabetical order, making it quick and easy to find what you’re looking for. This can take some doing to set up, but it’s definitely worth it in the end.
3. The “Minimalist” Layout
Definitely, my favorite and there are certainly a few approaches to this. Howver, his layout is perfect for those who want a clean and simple homescreen. There are only a few icons on the main page, and everything else is tucked away in folders. This leaves plenty of space for widgets and customizations, and makes your homescreen look much more sleek and polished. Personally, I would take this a step further by getting a minimalist set of icons and wallpaper in place as well.
4. The “Folders within Folders” Layout
This layout is perfect for those who have a lot of apps and need a way to organize them all. By creating folders within folders, you can easily keep track of everything without having a cluttered homescreen. I think this is probably the way to go but I am not really a fan of the aesthetics personally.
5. The “Empty Layout”
Now, this is the opposite to the above. I really like the look of it, but in reality it is not really practical. As the name suggests , the home screen is completely empty. There are no apps or widgets, just a blank canvas. This is perfect for those who like to change things up often, or for those who want to make a custom home screen with their own wallpaper and icons.
6. The “Widget” Homescreen Layout
Instead of icons taking up your phone, you employ a bunch of the widgets that come with the apps on your phone. This can include the weather, calendar, clock , and anything else you might want quick access to. This is a great way to get information at a glance without having to open up any apps, and it can also help you save space on your homescreen.

This is perfect for those who want to be able to jot down a quick note or reminder without having to open up their Notes app. By adding the Notes widget to your homescreen, you can quickly and easily write down anything you need to remember.

I personally, really love the look of these, as the icons can become somewhat transparent looking when you have a Black home screen as well.
